another story like mine.

August 12, 2011

occasionally wordpress gives me insight as to who is finding my blog. search engine results prove that there are some other finger amputees out there looking for a story like mine. i decided to do more digging today and found dj digs. a fellow “creativity-in-suffering” guitarist. check out his story.

Hi Kristen, I recently had my fingertip amputated, and although I have very basic piano and guitar skills, have been wondering how I will ever play again, and how to cope with my injury. Your blog has been very inspiring. God bless you, I wish you all the best.

    • Richard, I can say with confidence you are not alone in your efforts! I have met quite a few amazing people in person and through this blog who are doing just what we are doing. Find a way to keep music in your life. It is 100% worth it! Be open to new methods. Someone once told me that a change like this can lead you to unlimited possibilities you may have never considered – and I know they’re out there! Thank you for reading my blog! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’m still making music. Take care and God bless!
